Our Story

House of Vama was founded by three sisters—a lawyer, a strategist, and a rail engineer—who grew up surrounded by the quiet poetry of Indian craft. What began as a shared fascination for textiles became a commitment: to bring India’s heritage techniques into a modern, relevant world without losing their soul.
Our journey moves through workshops where dye-stained palms tell stories older than cities… where threads are twisted with memory… where heirloom techniques meet new silhouettes. From the fine punctures of hand-embroidery to the luminous geometry of traditional weaves, we work with artisans who carry centuries of knowledge in their fingertips.

At House of Vama, every garment is a bridge—between past and present, between the intimacy of handwork and the precision of contemporary tailoring. We design for women who seek meaning in what they wear, who believe that elegance is quiet, and that culture can be worn as naturally as confidence.

We create slowly. We release intentionally. We honour the rhythm of craft, not the haste of trends. Because heritage deserves patience, and stories deserve space to breathe.

This is not fast fashion.
This is India—retold, reinterpreted, and re-woven for today.
Welcome to House of Vama. Where traditions find their modern stage.
